You’re almost there. All of the hard work you’ve put in is about to pay off, but first you need to do a few things in order for IUPUC to get your diploma ready and mail it to you.

You need to complete the Graduation Application to let the registrar know when you intend to graduate. This will initiate the degree audit, which will be completed shortly after you finish your last semester of classes.

Apply to graduate

There are a couple of steps you can take to make the graduation process go smoothly.

1. Check your eligibility to graduate. Check with your academic advisor before you fill out the application. They can perform a preliminary audit of your coursework and let you know whether you will be eligible to graduate.
   
   
2. Verify your degree name and mailing address are accurate in Student Central.
   • The name there—including apostrophes, suffixes, middle names, and spaces, will be used on your diploma, in transcripts, and in the program book. If you have questions or special characters in your name aren’t appearing correctly, contact the registrar via email at registrar@iupuc.edu.
   • Your diploma will be mailed to the address listed in Student Central, so make sure it is correct.

3. Check for record holds via One.IU. Resolve any holds on your record that may impact the release of your diploma or transcripts such as an unpaid bill with the Bursar.
   • This includes parking tickets and record holds that may be in place with your student loan provider.
